Description

The NINDS Behavioral Neurology Unit investigates the brain physiology underlying learning, memory, and other adaptive processes in humans and develops noninvasive neuromodulatory techniques to facilitate them.  The current focus is on episodic memory and transcranial magnetic stimulation and study methods include functional and structural MRI, spontaneous and event-related EEG, and TMS-evoked EEG responses.  Postdoctoral fellows are expected to pursue their own line of research within the overall goals of the unit.
