NIH is holding its first conference designed to encourage greater public-private collaboration. This conference is an opportunity to learn about the NIH’s laboratories carrying out cutting edge research.
With approximately 1,200 Principal Investigators and more than 4,000 Postdoctoral Fellows conducting basic, translational, and clinical research, the NIH is the largest biomedical research institution on earth. NIH and the private sector bring different resources and strengths to addressing unmet medical needs and this conference is designed to facilitate learning about and working with the NIH for organizations not familiar with it.
The 2024 scientific conference will focus on six subject areas: Vaccines, Therapeutics (including gene therapy), Novel target identification/validation, Drug repurposing, Diagnostics, and Biomarkers.
