Clinical Center Grand Rounds

The NIH Clinical Center Grand Rounds, a weekly CME activity, aims to offer its audience a wide variety of topics from a diverse group of speakers to not only help them remain current on the latest advances in medicine, but to also assist them as they continue to grow professionally.   

Clinical Neuroscience Grand Rounds

The NINDS, NIMH, and JHU co-sponsor a weekly CME accredited clinical neuroscience series from September through June with case presentations and guest lectures. The series is designed for physicians, nurses, and other health care providers to provide up-to-date information on the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders and the principles of clinical research. Guest speakers are renowned experts and present on a variety of topics in neurology, mechanisms of disease, and clinical research design.

Neuroscience Seminar Series

The NIH Neuroscience Seminar Series features lectures and discussions with leading neuroscientists. Sponsored by the NINDS, NIMH, NIA, NIDCD, NIDA, NICHD, NEI, NIAAA, NIDCR, NHGRI and NCCIH, the series offers seminars on aspects of molecular, cellular, developmental and cognitive neuroscience as well as neuroscience related topics in disease, pain, and genetics.

NIH Director's WALS

The NIH Director’s Wednesday Afternoon Lecture Series (WALS) is the highest-profile lecture program at the NIH. Each season includes some of the biggest names in biomedical and behavioral research. The goal of the WALS is to keep NIH researchers abreast of the latest and most important research. 

 NIH IRP Events

Find a listing of events hosted by various Institutes in the NIH IRP that inform, challenge, and unite the biomedical research community. IRP investigators lead or participate in many of these events, and they regularly present their work at scientific conferences.

NIH Systems Neuroscience Seminar Series

Sponsored by the Porter Bldg. Users Group, The NIH Systems Neuroscience Seminar Series features a series of lectures from renowned scientists with research that focuses on understanding the function and structure of neural circuit and systems.

NINDS DIR Events

The Intramural Program of the NINDS has a calendar of neuroscience events including guest lectures, journal clubs, training events, and other activities. Many events are open to the NIH community.

NIDCD Seminar Series

The National Institute on Deafness and Communicaiton Disorders (NIDCD) seminars are normally held from 11:00 a.m. to noon or 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Please see the NIH events calendar for the times and titles of specific lectures. As of September 2022, the series is in a hybrid format though lectures are not recorded for later viewing.
