In her current role in the Office of the Scientific Director in the NINDS Intramural Research Program, Dr. Elizabeth “Liza” Litvina provides strategic management of the NINDS Board of Scientific Counselors and scientific communication and reporting activities. Prior to joining the NINDS Office of the Scientific Director, Dr. Litvina served as AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow (STPF) in the NINDS Office of the Director since 2018. She earned her PhD in Neurobiology from Harvard University with a graduate minor is Science and Technology Studies, and BA/MA in Science in Society and Neuroscience & Behavior from Wesleyan University.
