Dr. Snyder is a Senior  Clinical Fellow in the Neurogenetics Branch and the Neurodegenerative Clinic. She joined the NIH after completing her clinical fellowship in Behavioral Neurology at the UCSF Memory and Aging Center under the mentorship of Drs. Howard Rosen, Joel Kramer, and Bruce Miller. Her clinical expertise is in dementia with a particular focus on primary progressive aphasias. Her research focuses on understanding genetic contributions to dementia by establishing a pipeline to evaluate variants of uncertain significance identified in the clinic as well as studying the role of the genetic modifier TMEM106B on microglial biology.
