Background
This lecture is resented annually by a groundbreaking and productive clinical researcher who follows in the tradition of G. Milton Shy, the first Clinical Director at NINDS, whose devotion to his care of patients and scientific inquiry was matched only by his dedication to teaching students.

Case Presentation: "Expanding the phenotypic spectrum of POLR3B related disorders," presented by Dr. Safoora Syeda, NINDS
Activity Description: Through lecture, discussion and slide show this activity will focus on Neuromuscular Diseases
Who Should Attend: This activity is intended for Neurologists, Neuroscientists, Neurosurgeons, Neuropsychologists, and Health Care Professionalss
Lecture Specific Educational Objectives: After attending this activity the participant will demonstrate the ability to:
- Understand the role of whole exome sequencing in expanding phenotypic spectrum of known genes
- Explore the opportunities in disease understanding including the impact of whole genome sequencing
